Double-Baked Pain with Almonds
Once the classic croissant is baked and left to completely cool down, we cut it through, fill it with and coat it in frangipane cream (with a lot of almonds), sprinkle it with almond petals and put it once again into the oven. The result is a lush, aromatic, almondy croissant, perfect as a sweet breakfast treat.
